Remember those Corollas- waited in one at the mall once while the parents were inside; fun note- the electric sunroof will open without the keys but will not close.. Good thing it wasn’t raining.

A college friend of mine had the Nova version of that. Despite the fact that the trip odometer stopped working at 666 miles one day (and was promptly reset) and the water pump screeched when cold it was really pretty reliable. Of course that was 20 years ago.

That gen Camry (XV10) is probably one of the best — in terms of build quality — vehicles Toyota ever made. It was basically a 90's Lexus that was more affordable.

A few nights ago, I was talking to my better half about flying from PA to the west coast, buying a car for less than $1500, and road tripping back home. She said that the idea sounded like a lot of fun.

Your post is doing nothing to dissuade me. I’d take any of those three.

As you have seen in the photos I’ve posted, I see a lot of those Solaras on the island, and a lot of them when I go to DC/MD. Apparently you can’t kill them. And lots of the next gen convertible version in MD.
